Groundhog Day
Feeling the onset of a depressive episode
Here we are again
Draw the curtains
Force-quit the day
Tell my friends not to worry
We’ve seen this movie
She ends up okay
Her claws, they have a type of grip
Freshly painted to match her pearls
It’s still not enough to stop the slip
Into darkness, which fills her world
But there, is where she feels at home
Eyes closed, curled in a ball
If only she could understand
The madness of it all
